Hager Pacific Properties’ recent acquisition of 170,000 square feet of industrial property at 1905 Dennison Street in Oakland was a direct result of the professionalism of our Featured Broker, John McManus of Cushman and Wakefield.
John is known for his skills representing some of the largest tenants in the market; skills which he utilized to navigate the challenges of our recent Oakland purchase. This was a complicated transaction, which included a previously strained relationship between the existing landlord and tenants, a multifaceted ownership that often had differing motivations, and a complex environmental situation.
As a buyer, it is rewarding to find a broker willing to invest in such a difficult transaction. John was also instrumental in helping us repair the relationship with the existing tenants and in maintaining occupancy as we renovated the property. It is not surprising to us that John is a consistent top producer, and recognized as a leader, not only at Cushman and Wakefield, but in the brokerage community in Northern California as a whole.
