Edward (“Lalo”) Villareal has more than 25 years of experience in industrial real estate located in the markets of Laredo and McAllen, Texas. Throughout his career, Lalo has leased or sold in excess of 30 million square feet of industrial property and provides his clients with vast knowledge and experience of the local industry and people of South Texas.
Lalo and his associate Jaboney (“JR”) Rodriguez have been indispensable resources to HPP over the past ten years. Their granular knowledge of the McAllen and Laredo markets has proved invaluable to HPP and has resulted in six separate warehouse acquisitions and innumerable leases and renewals in our 21 property South Texas portfolio.
This summer, Lalo and JR represented HPP on the purchase of two separate warehouses in Laredo totaling approximately 70,000 square feet. Due to Lalo and JR’s close relationship with the local property owners, coming to a fair agreement swiftly was seamless.
